BROW POST-CURE
-
Do not get your eyebrows wet for the first 24 hours. Use the sticky visor (provided) to protect your eyebrows when showering.
-
After the first 24 hours you may get your eyebrows wet. Make sure NOT to scrub your eyebrows when washing your face. Pat dry with a paper towel after showering/washing your face.
-
On day 3 apply a thin layer of the A&D Ointment that was provided with a Q-tip. Continue to do this every morning until your eyebrows have finished peeling.
-
Stay away from excessive sunlight, excessive sweating, pools, beaches, and saunas for two weeks.
-
Expect slight swelling and a little redness in the immediate area.
-
DO NOT TOUCH THE TREATED AREA WITH YOUR FINGERS (you may have bacteria on your hands that can be transmitted to your brows and cause infection.)
-
Splash water on your brows every night and pat dry with a paper towel.
-
If a slight crust appears on a pigmented surface, DO NOT remove by picking or scratching! (You will remove pigment along with crusting.) Brows are not considered healed until all scabbing has disappeared.
-
After 7 days you can wash with mild soap and water and pat dry on the brow area.
-
Avoid using any makeup (foundation, brow pencils, shadows, powder etc). over the area for 10-14 days to ensure proper healing and no infection.
-
Avoid tinting of brows for 3 weeks following the procedure.
-
After the procedure you may have some peeling on or around the 4th-6th day. This is a normal process of healing for some people. Do not pick the area. Picking can cause scarring and as result a loss of color.
-
The application of the permanent cosmetics is a 2 step procedure. Do not judge your procedure while in the healing stage. It will most likely require a touch up (which is not included in the initial price.)
-
Don’t be alarmed if the color comes off onto the Q-Tip when applying topical ointment. This is normal.
-
Avoid sun and tanning for 2 weeks or until all scabs have fallen off following the procedure.
-
Avoid chlorine pools, saunas and jacuzzi until scabs all fall off.
-
Avoid makeup on pigmented area until healed.
-
Avoid Retin-A, Glycolic Acids, Aloe, and Vitamin E products.
-
No Terry Towels usage over pigmented areas.
-
If you are planning a chemical peel, MRI, or other medical procedures, inform them that you have had an iron oxide cosmetic tattoo procedure.
-
You must wait 1 year after any tattoo to donate blood.
-
Lasers can cause the pigment to turn black. Ensure you avoid the procedure site until after you have healed. Use a good sunscreen daily to help prevent premature fading of all procedures.
-
If any sign of infection occurs, abnormal swelling, redness or pain associated with the procedure, call your physician and seek medical attention immediately. Please give us a call as well.
LIP BLUSH POST-CURE
-
During the 24 hours following the procedure you will use a clean damp (use bottled water to wet it) paper towel to constantly wipe off any excess lymph fluid to avoid excessive scabbing.
-
Apply the healing ointment with a Q-tip religiously to your lips until it heals (7-14 days). Your lips should always be moist and never become dry.
-
It is important to stay away from excessive sunlight as it can cause hyperpigmentation to the lips and is not reversible.
-
You will experience slight flaking which is normal, let it fall off naturally. Do not pick at the scabs or you can cause scarring.
-
Avoid greasy, oily, salty or spicy foods for one week.
-
Avoid hot drinks, soups and messy foods. Drink out of a straw as much as possible.
-
Avoid using toothpaste with any lightening agents such as peroxide as it will ruin your tattoo.
-
No kissing, smoking, rubbing or creating irritation to the lips while it's healing or you can cause an infection.
-
If you experience any type of cold sore breakouts, it is normal. This is bound to happen especially if you did not follow your pre-care instructions by taking antiviral medication.
-
The first few days after the procedure your lips will look darker and more vibrant as the pigment is still sitting in the top layer of the skin. Once your lips start peeling you will notice the pigment will look like it’s not there. 3-4 weeks after your initial session you will see the color pop back up to a beautiful tint of your desired color!

Tooth gem post-cure
Avoid Hard and Sticky Foods. To prevent dislodging the gem, avoid hard, crunchy, or sticky foods.
Use a Soft-Bristled Toothbrush. A soft-bristled toothbrush can clean effectively without risking damage to the gem or your tooth.
-Avoid Whitening Products. Whitening toothpastes and treatments can discolor the area around the gem, making it more noticeable
Mouthwash. Use an antiseptic mouthwash to help keep your mouth clean and reduce the risk of infection.
Regular Dental Check-ups. Continue with your regular dental check-ups to ensure your teeth and the gem are in good condition.
Avoid Eating for 1 Hour: Immediately after application, avoid eating to allow the adhesive to set properly.
Soft Foods First For the first 24 hours, stick to soft foods and avoid biting directly on the gem.
Regular Oral Hygiene: Maintain a regular oral hygiene routine of brushing twice a day and flossing daily. Be gentle around the gem.
Avoid Playing With the Gem:Avoid the temptation to play with the gem with your tongue or fingers, as this can loosen it.
Check for Looseness: Periodically check if the gem feels loose. If it does, consult your dentist.
Know When to Remove: If the gem causes any discomfort, irritation, or issues with oral hygiene, have it professionally removed.
Remember, the longevity of a tooth gem can vary based on the individual's oral habits and after care. Always follow the specific aftercare advice provided by your tooth gem tech.
SCALP MICRO PIGMENTATION
POST-CURE
Avoid excessive sunlight and sweating for 7-14 days post-cure. Avoid direct sun exposure for 14 days. Avoid saunas, chlorine pools, beach or salt water for 30 days. Avoid swimming in fresh, salt, or chlorinated water for 30 days.
Do Not peel or pick at scabs. Let it fall off by itself. Do Not wet the scab to help it come off. Picking and pulling off skin that is not ready to be removed or come off will cause pigment loss and can pull out deeper tissue.
Do Not touch or rub the procedure area. Bacteria lives on the surface of your skin and can enter into your bloodstream and cause a bacterial infection.
Do Not expose the area to full pressure of the shower for at least 10 days. You do not want the water to beat on the pigmented area. The water will cause swelling and moisture and remove the scabs.
DO NOT SHAVE YOUR HEAD
Do not apply styling products for at least 10 days. Do not use anything on your scalp that contains alcohol for 10 days. Do not use shampoo, water or soap.
You may wear a hat outside, but it must be clean and loose-fitting. If you do wear a hat in the healing process you must allow the scalp to breathe properly so remove the hat every 30 minutes for the first 3 days.
Use the coconut oil provided for the treated area of your scalp 2 to 3 times a day.
Day 5-6: You can take a light shower, light water pressure, and gently shampoo your scalp. Pat dry, do not rub.
Day 7-9: There still may be scabs on your scalp. Apply moisturizer 2+ daily to prevent dryness and flaky skin. If you have oily skin then skip this step. Use the coconut oil provided for the treated area of your scalp 2 to 3 times a day. (If you are still peeling)
Day 10+: This is the time you are probably considering shaving your head. Be careful of any scabs that might still be on your scalp. Only use an electric razor. You should wait 30 days before using a razor blade.
(Long Term) Use sunscreen. Look for a water resistant, broad-spectrum coverage with an SPF of at least 30 on a daily basis to help preserve your color. The ultraviolet rays from the sun may damage the SMP pigments if no sunscreen is used over the course of many months or years. The end result would be fading and the need for a touch up.
Do Not use tanning beds. They can fade your SMP.
