Cure Permanent Makeup and Academy has been kierstin's dream since SHE , first entered into the beauty industry back in 2017.

    Kierstin's journey into permanent makeup started back in 2018 where she took her first training for ombre powder brows and did a 6 month apprenticeship in Las Vegas Nevada. Kierstin started out of a tiny 10x10 room in a salon only taking 1-3 clients a week to now having a successful permanent makeup studio in Barrigada, Guam, being booked out months in advance.

    Over the years, Kierstin has taken many certification courses and trainings online and in person with renown PMU artist all over the world to be up to date with the latest trends and services in the industry. Kierstin is certified in ombre powder brows, lip blush, scalp micro pigmentation and saline tattoo removal. With all the knowledge and skills Kierstin has established in the last few years, she wanted to provide a life changing career opportunity to other individuals by offering permanent makeup training courses. Her goal is to create PMU artists who are passionate, creative, honest and self motivated. The perfect recipe for best results.

    Hi, my name is Alexis. But you can call me Lex! Since I was young, I’ve always been into anything beauty! My entire life, I’ve always dreamt about being in the industry, whether it was nails, makeup, or hair. I had always talked about going to school to pursue these dreams but never had the chance to. Time and money have always been the struggle, and I’ve worked and prayed to maybe one day have that opportunity. As time went on, I later discovered a new trend: PMU (ombré powder brows). With some luck, I was able to take a PMU training back in 2022 and decided to leave my 9-5 job to pursue something I didn’t know that I had so much love and passion for! And with that, granted the opportunity to work for Cure!

    I’ve fallen in love with the art and having the chance to meet new people, make new friends/ family, and enhance their beauty even more! Also, making them feel more confident in themselves! Not only does that make me feel even better about the choices I’ve made for myself and my family, but also my decisions in a career path. I love seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces, and I can’t wait for you all to follow me on my journey through the industry!

    Hi im sky! Your new local PMU artist at cure academy! And owner of @glimpseofbeauty.gu✨.

    My love for beauty started from when I was just a little girl buying those candy cellphones that had different lipgloss & eyeshadows.

    Fast forward many years later all while going to school/working my part time job I decided to take training for other beauty services. Shortly after graduating decided to quit my job, take all my money and pursue beauty full time. BEST DECISION IVE EVER MADE.

    I knew I had a passion for this career and didn’t want to stop there. I invested more time and money into my education/journey and took the training/apprenticeship in October 2023 for ombre powder brows and saline removal.

    After completing my training and apprenticeship I was given the opportunity to work for cure. I’m not even going to lie I was absolutely flabbergasted but more honored and seen! I’m so excited to share this journey with you all and expand my horizons in the beauty industry. Thank you to every single person who has made my journey possible. I can’t wait to continue to help the people of Guam feel a glimpse of beauty.
